The development of small demonstrators is planned to gather extensive knowledge on specific critical aspects, as to tackle specific challenges that can jeopardize the development of FTB families.
In flight
- Flight testing is essential, since ground testing, including wind tunnel testing, can simulate pressure and temperature conditions as well as dynamic flight loads to a limited extent or at extremely high cost.

In wind tunnel
- The demonstrator test outcomes will validate credibility of used design methods both for the demonstrator itself and for the LR H₂ TAW FTB family.
