Special session on “Pathways towards the ultimate energy efficient airraft of the future”
EXAELIA at CEAS/AIDAA 2025
“It was an honor to give a presentation on “Flying Test Beds to Accelerate the Development of Disruptive Long-Rage Aircraft” at the CEAS-AIDAA confernece 2025 in Turin, Italy, on the 3rd of December 2025” Johan Kos from NLR – Netherlands Aerospace Centre, coordinator of EXAELIA.
This event was used not only to introduce our project EXAELIA to the audience, but also included some of the first results obtained by our experienced consortium, with respect to the Top Level Aircraft requirements identified for the aircraft concepts that are currently being designed.
This 1st of 2 sessions entitled “Pathways towards the ultimate energy efficient airraft of the future”, included 3 other presentations, and was chaired Daniel Reckzeh.
In total, 60 people attended, an opportunity to share valuable insights on the work being performed in EXAELIA and to bring Europe closer to aircraft of the future.
