15th EASN conference, Madrid, Spain
Special session on “Sustainability and circularity in the design process in aviation“
EXAELIA was present at the EASN – European Aerospace Science Network 15th conference !
We informed you two weeks ago on linkedin about EXAELIA partners intention to present some of their results at the EASN – European Aerospace Science Network 15th conference.
On the 15th of October, our partners University of Patras and German Aerospace Center (DLR) presented results from EXAELIA during the session “Sustainability and circularity in the design process in aviation” co-chaired by Ligeia Paletti and Angelos Filippatos.
1) Luca Boggero’s presentation on “writting well-performed requirements for the successful design of sustainable long-range aircraft: a structured approach” was an opportunity to display the methods supporting the collection of stackholder needs and the transformation of these needs into requirements for long-range aircraft.
2) In “Identification of Sustainability-related Stakeholder Needs and Requirements for the Conceptual Design of Future Long-Range Aircrafts“, Angelos Filippatos presented the application of a structured approach to define the stakeholders for long range aircraft and their needs.
3) Thomas Kalampoukas presented an overview of various testbeds and their governance and funding models, in Europe and worldwide, during his presentation entitled “Towards a European Flying Testbed – Governance models and funding strategies”
Around 60 people attended, leading to several technical questions and curiosity about future EXAELIA outcomes.
